The design narrative began with a deep immersion into the region’s ecology and cultural craft traditions. The volcanic terrain, rich textures of lava rock, the softness of mist rolling down the mountains, and the warm earth palette inspired a concept defined by elemental simplicity and earth-rooted elegance.

From the very first sketch, the design vision centered on creating a refuge that honors its environment—both spiritually and materially—while offering guests an experience of profound calm and thoughtful luxury.

Blend, don’t impose — letting the lodge sit gently within the landscape.

Material honesty — showcasing stone, timber, metal, and natural fibres in their true form.

Wellness through connection — framing every interior with expansive views that erase the boundary between inside and out.

During construction, the design team worked closely with artisans, contractors, and sustainability consultants to ensure that the lodge’s connection to land remained authentic.
